You know what really grinds my gears? Automated voices. No matter how much you need information they always seem to be talking at one word per minute, and always at the end they finally give you the options to go into an extended line. Why wouldnt they put the options at the beginning of the voice message, and put the store hours at the end. Honestly i doubt that most people are calling for store hours, especially during the day. Besides that why is it always a woman?"It's much easier to find a female voice that everyone likes than a male voice that everyone likes," said Stanford University Professor Clifford Nass. Apparently this all started back in WWII when women's voices stood out more over the radio.
